ILRDC Readers are stories adapted from western classics by ILRDC and translated into sixteen indigenous languages by indigenous language teachers for youth and adult readers. In 2014, sixteen indigenous legends were translated; in 2015, an adapted "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1943) was presented; and in 2016, ILRDC is working on the story of Sequoyah, the Cherokee man who invented a writing system for his people.
